Valmar Gite, Sainte Livrade Sur Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, France

We are delighted to offer you the hospitality of our beautiful Gite, a self-catering rental property, situated in the heart of the Lot et Garonne countryside of South West France, half-way between Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Valmar is situated along a quiet country lane, in three quarters of an acre of private grounds and its elevated position allows you, our guests, to appreciate the stunning views overlooking the Cazeneuve valley and nearby vineyards and fruit orchards. 

Valmar Gite is a haven of peace and tranquility and yet only a five minute drive to the nearest small Bastide town of Sainte Livrade Sur Lot, which has all the facilities to cater for your daily needs, including general stores, Boulangeries, chemist, tabac and a couple of small supermarkets.

A further ten minutes takes you to the larger Provincial Town of Villeneuve Sur Lot, which, as its name suggests, straddles the river Lot and offers further facilities including restaurants, cafes, banks, large supermarkets, theatre, lots of water and other leisure activities and lots more.

Guests staying at our Holiday Rental Property benefit from exclusive use of the superb 10m x 5m private swimming pool, which is equipped with sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs and which basks in the sun all day long. So you can use Valmar Gite as a base to explore all that the Lot et Garonne has to offer, or you can laze around the pool all day, soaking up those rays, with a good book, or perhaps a glass of your favourite tipple !

On the leisure activities page you will find everything from Canoeing, Kayaking, Water Skiing at Fongrave, rowing boats and even hydroplanes (mini hovercrafts, suitable for both adults and children) as well fishing, two golf courses, theme parks for the kids, ten pin bowling, horse riding and we are even close to the best known microlight base in europe.
