Villa Beauchene is a light and airy apartment on the first floor of a large 1970's villa. It has been comfortably furnished for family or group use. The owners' accommodation is on the ground floor. The accommodation comprises:

dual aspect living room/dining room overlooking the gardens. Comfortably seats 8 guests – french doors opening onto enclosed terrace
dual aspect large equiped kitchen/breakfast room seating for 6 guests – high chair available. Views of the gardens

1 bathroom
1 separate WC

all of the principle rooms, including bedrooms, have shuttered windows

UK television, CD/DVD player, WiFi internet access; various board games, toys; DVD and book library etc,

Kitchen – Fridge/freezer, 4 ring gas cooker with grill, microwave, double sink; crockery cutlery and cookware for 8 people.

We offer a laundry service for an additional charge

Outside – enclosed terrace with hardwood patio furniture, awning and bar-b-que. Ornamental covered fish pond; bird table visited by a great number of familiar and less familiar woodland birds. Completely enclosed private gardens set out as shaded lawns, picnic areas, playarea with swings etc amongst mature trees, in all about 1 acre.

Closeby – woodland walks; horse riding – for all levels indoor menage and trecking to the beach; spider park, cycle tracks to Soulac town shops and beaches - both commercial and “sauvage” (about 3 kms). Restaurants to suit all tastes. Sailing school, surf school – we can loan body boards and skimboard; Campsite bar and restaurant (in high season) immediately across the road; For car-free guests we can offer beach and shopping transport service.

Further afield – network of hard surface cycle tracks covering the whole of the Medoc and beyond -suitable also for ramblers, pushchairs and wheelchair users; Off road bike tracks; Gironde estuary and famous vinyards of the Medoc.

We have a No Smoking Policy in the house and grounds; We can accommodate pets but dogs are not permitted to roam loose in the gardens.
